摘要：At various levels of analysis, the terminology in Romanian includes a series of characteristics: a) morphological level: the presence of affixoids (Greek-Latin erudite elements), component units in the mechanism of term formation; b) lexical level: predominance of terms composed by affixoidation, taking over words from Latin, etc.; c) semantic level: the semasiological approach generates the “reuse” of affixoids through associations of new concepts, produces “remodeling” and the formation of new terms; d) functional level: the national/international dimensions in the formation, establishment and functioning of the Romanian terminology. In this article, we propose the analysis of the autonomous lexems ”alcool” and ”delta”, subjected to the affixoidation phenomenon, which offers possibilities of combination with affixes (alcoolism, deltic), with affixoids (alcoolemie, daltadrom) or with independent existent themes (alcool-test).
