  • 摘要:This research aims to understand how the phenomenon of migration has been shaped in the Social Studies curricula and textbooks in the period from 2005 to 2020. In the research, document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The textbooks decided to be taught in secondary schools by the Ministry of National Education, Board of Education and Discipline in 2005, 2015 and 2020 were selected as the document for examination in the research, depending on the 2005 and 2018 curricula. Inductive analysis was used in the study. The obtained data were first analyzed via line by line coding, then the themes and findings were found. In the study, it was found that in the period from 2005 to 2020, the subject of migration was excessively shaped in the textbooks limited within the context of internal migration and external migration, and in 2015 and 2020, different perspectives on migration began to be addressed in the textbooks, but the phenomenon of migration was a subject of a limited change in the textbooks.
