摘要:This study aims to statistically synthesize the results of research studies examining the relationship between mathematics anxiety and mathematics achievement carried out in Turkey. To this end, the mean effect size of the relationship between the two variables was calculated in the current study using the meta-analysis method. In addition, the mean effect size was examined in terms of moderator variables such as school level and publication type. After implementing the inclusion criteria, the meta-analysis was performed with 29 independent studies. The total sample size of these studies is 25704. The mean effect size of the relationship between the two variables is -.363, which indicates a negative and medium level relationship. The effect sizes do not differ significantly in terms of moderator variables of school level and publication type.
