摘要：The coronavirus pandemic has negatively impacted the global economy. The banking sector is no exception. The authors analyze the impact of the coronavirus on the functioning and subsequent development of the banking sector in Russia. If we consider this pandemic as a one-time event, then the banking system will recover quickly enough, and there will be no tragic long-term consequences. However, if we talk about the coronavirus pandemic as a recurring event that will occur at intervals of two or even three times a year, then the real consequences are still difficult to assess.
