  • 摘要:The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has now infectedmore than 4.5 million people worldwide, and it has affected thelife of every human being on earth either directly or otherwise. The mammoth pressure of social and economic adversitiesis likely to affect the mental and psychosexual health ofindividuals in many ways 1,2 (Table 1). Although the novelcoronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) is a respiratory virus and the onlyestablished mode of transmission is via droplet, researchers arefar from confident to exclude other modes of transmissions, aswe continue to learn new facts about the infection on dailybasis. For example, the possibility of fecal-oral transmissionand vertical transmission may not be completely excluded. 3We have highlighted some immediate concerns regardingsexual practices (Table 2) and psychosexual consequences(Table 1) of COVID-19 in daily adult life.
