摘要：Culture-bound syndromes (CBS) have been a subject underremarkable criticism since many decades. Many pertainingand persisting issues associated with CBS have been inseveral controversies that time and again stir up debatesamong Western and non-Western researchers. In this regard,we have tried to summarize the major critiques in this area.
