摘要:AbstractThe space industry in Mexico has been drawing great attention recently from the education sector through the implementation of projects for the design and development of satellite missions, encouraging and motivating students to participate and develop them. In this paper we present a favorable methodology for the energy management and the definition of the operative times of each Mode of Operation of a satellite mission that is being developed by undergraduate students at Universidad Panamericana (UP). This methodology intends to guarantee energy autonomy and safe operation of the satellite, and help students to understand the proper development of energy management, and its important relation with the Modes of Operation. We propose as the methodology, a performance analysis of the energy management components to different power requirements, activation time periods in terms ofnorbits, and battery charge-discharge limits scenarios, by performing power simulations in MATLAB and STK. Finally, determine analytically the most optimal scenario that will ensure the survival of the satellite and achieve a successful mission.
