摘要:This paper studies the interactions of two lightbeams in the nematic liquid crystal in the local response regime,which are referred to as two-color nematicons. For the lightof same wavelength, we derive the traveling wave solutions oftwo nematicon equations under some suitable conditions. Thenwe find plane-wave solutions of two-color nematicon equationsand examine their stability. Using a standing-wave ansatz,we obtain a system of amplitude equations for the spatiallymodulated states corresponding to the two-color nematiconequations in the non-resonant case. By perturbation theory andthe method of averaging, we determine the equilibrium point ofthis averaged system, which leads to the existence of spatiallyperiodic solutions of the system.
