摘要:Cholera is an infectious bacterial disease caused bya bacterium named Vibrio Cholerae. Therefore, this researchaims to determine cholera’s dynamic analysis due to its rapidspread, using educational preventive measures. The modelconsists of four human subpopulations, namely susceptible, educated, infected, and recovered, as well as the bacteria population. The infection rate is assumed in the form of a saturatedincidence rate found in interactions between the educated andbacteria population and the interactions between the susceptibleand bacteria population. Furthermore, the dynamical analysisis performed by determining the equilibrium point, the basic reproduction number, and the stability. We also performsensitivity analysis of the parameters. The results showed thatthe model has two equilibrium points, namely disease-freeand endemic. The disease-free equilibrium point always exists, while endemic occurs when the basic reproduction number isgreater than one. In addition, the disease-free equilibrium pointis asymptotically stable when the basic reproduction numberis less than one. Meanwhile, the endemic equilibrium pointis asymptotically stable under certain conditions. Numericalsimulations showed that the results are consistent with theanalysis. Furthermore, educational measures have a significantimpact on controlling the spread of cholera.
