摘要:In this research, it was aimed to determine the attitudes of Physical Education Teachers (PET) towards the use of humor in education and to examine them according to the variables of gender, marital status, age, and year of professional service. In the research, the survey model was used. The data group consisted of 140 volunteer PETs selected according to the simple random sampling method. The Attitude Scale towards the Use of Humor in Education was used. The data analysis of the research includes frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation analysis for descriptive statistics; Variance analysis (One-way ANOVA, independent sample t test) was used to compare mean scores in unrelated measurements and, the Tukey test was used to determine which groups had significant differences. As a result of the study, there was no significant difference in the attitudes of PETs towards using humor in education according to gender. It has been determined that married PETs have more attitudes towards humor deemed necessary in education, PETs who are new to the profession have more beliefs about deemed necessary in education and its effect on language and teaching towards humor, and PETs and who are older have more attitudes to use humor in the effect of maintaining classroom order. The most important result of the study is that PETs' attitudes towards the use of humor in education are at a high level in terms of the effectiveness of education.
