摘要:Critical thinking is recognized as an important skill in the process of lifelong learning and considered as one of the main goals of education. The aim of this research is to determine the psychometric characteristics of the Critical Thinking Scale in Daily Life and to contribute to the field with a tool that can make valid and reliable measurements on this subject. The study group consists of 425 students aged 14-19, and data was collected from two different groups within the scope of the research. Exploratory factor analysis was made with the data obtained from the first group, and confirmatory factor analysis was made with the data obtained from the second group. With both sets of data, Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficients were calculated for both the entire scale and the lower dimensions. The findings revealed that this scale is a measurement tool that can be used to determine the critical thinking skills of 14-19 year olds in Turkey in daily life and measures high reliability and validity.
