摘要：Diversity and inclusion are important yet sensitive topics. A great many people around the world have unfortunately faced exclusion from opportunities as an unfortunate fact of life. Such exclusion may occur actively through refusal to include individuals because they belong to one or more demographic categories. Alternatively, it might occur more passively via conditions that favor some groups and inhibitothers. In either case, exclusivity has significant negative results. Excluded individuals or individuals who receive pressure not to participate represent a lost opportunity for both the excluded and for the group doing the excluding.
