摘要:The adsorption of heavy metals in wastewater by biochar prepared from waste has received exten-sive attention. In this paper, biochar was prepared by pyrolysis of turtle shell powder at 300°C (BC300). 500°C (BC500) and 650℃(BC650) under anoxic conditions. The effects of pH, solution concentration and adsorption time on the adsorption of Cd2+by biochar prepared under different pyrolytic tempera-tures were studied. The results showed that the ad-sorption effect of Cd2+ on biochar was not affected by the pH value. The adsorption process of the bio-char prepared at three temperatures accorded with the Langmuir model. The maximum adsorption ca-pacity was BC500 >BC650 >BC300.When the concentration of Cd²+is 25 mg/L, it conformed to Ouasi-second-order kinetics at low temperature and Quasi-first-order kinetics at high temperature.
