摘要:Nowadays, the environment pollution prob- lems limited the development of industrialization. Unconventional oils showed unique advantages than conventional oils, and the widely utilization of un-conventional oils attracted much attention. However. most researches focus on the increase of heavy oilrecovery, and many novel methods were used for in- crease. But the composition and structure of car- bonate asphalt rocks were unclear, and the differ-ences between carbonate asphalt rocks and minerals after soxhlet extraction element analysis and compo- sition were unclear. In this study, we used XPS method to analyze the element composition and structure of carbonate asphalt rocks and minerals af- ter Soxhlet extraction. The mainly composition of carbonate asphalt rocks was C, O, Ca, Mg, Al and other elements. Bitumen covered the CaCO, surface, and only some minor CaCO3 exposed to the sur- roundings. The element content of carbonate asphalt rocks was C (92.23 wt %), 0 (4.21 wt %), Ca (0.56 wt %), Si (0.75 wt %), Fe (0.05 wt %), S (1.85 wt %), Al (0.33 wt %). Besides, the element content of min- erals after soxhlet extraction showed different law which was C (42.78 wt %), 0 (39.76 wt %), Ca (4.92 wt%), Si (7.45 wt%), Fe (0.16 wt %), S (1.03 wt %). Al (3.35 wt %), Mg (0.55 wt %). The element anal- ysis for bitumen was saturates (18.07 wt %), aromat- ics (31.28 wt %), resins (28.32 wt %), asphaltenes (22.33 wt %).
