摘要:Investigations of individual cultures and co-cultures were conducted with Cyclotella sp.,Chlo-rella vulgaris, and Microcystis aeruginosa. An ap-propriate culture medium for all the three species of algae was selected(50% of BG11+ 50%D1 me-dium). The growth characteristics of each species were studied, and their competitive advantages were discussed. The results revealed that, when separately cultured, the biomass of M. aeruginosa was the greatest, with C.vulgaris being second. When Cy-clotella sp. was cultured together with C. vulgaris or M. aeruginosa it transitioned to the decline phase earlier than that when it was cultured in isolation, and was at a competitive disadvantage. During the initial eight days of the C. vulgaris and M. aeru-ginosa pairing, the cell density of C. vulgaris was higher than that of M. aeruginosa; however,M. ae-ruginosa subsequently became the dominant spe-cies. When the three species of algae were co-cul-tured, M. aeruginosa eventually attained the growth advantage. The competition inhibition of the three algae, ranging from highest to lowest was:Cyclotella sp.,C.vulgaris,and M aeruginosa.
