摘要：The Hogna Simon,1885 are a genus of wolf spi-ders which little is known, despite there being many species around the world. Few studies have been car-ried out on the genus and there are few researchers in the field. In this study,Hogna radiata (Latreille,1817), the type species of the genus, was evaluated by assessing its morphological and molec-ular(mitochondrial COI gene region). It was deter-mined that the species varied in its molecular struc-ture as well as its morphology. Additionally, com-ments to Hogna taxonomy of the Turkey, H.radiata minor(Simon,1876),and H.ferox(Lucas,1838),are provided. The descriptive characteristics of the spe-cies have been detailed and illustrated.
