摘要:Kune-Vaini Lagoon System (KVLS), located within the Drini-Mati River Delta in the Lezha re-gion of Albania, provides a wide range of valuable goods and services to nearby communities. A rapid increase in population size and widespread poverty in the area have led to an increase in pressure on the lagoon for ecosystem goods and services, and to un-planned alterations in the buffer zone surrounding the lagoon. Unsustainable resources use within the KVLS is also causing a reduction in quality and quantity of water in the KVLS affecting lagoon productivity, in-creased coastal flooding and increased sand dune erosion. In order to address this problem. Kune-Vaini Lagoons System is vulnerable to the effects of climate change and is expected to experience more intense and frequent floods and storm surges [1]. This study was realised in the framework of on-going project "Climate changes adaption interven-tions of the Kune-Vaini lagoon system(Lezha, Al-bania)-ecological approach". Field work was done from July 2018 to July 2019, with an interval of ap-proximately of two month. Sampling took place in five station wich were selected to represent the water quality of Kune-Vaini lagoon system. This study aimed to evaluate seasonal variation of the TSI reportedby Lamparelli, using specific TSI values of the total phosphorus(TP)and chlorophyll a(Chl a).
