摘要:Coastal regions can be very sensitive areas de-pending on their environmental conditions. The best indicator of this situation is the shoreline that has changed over the years. The Mediterranean is an in-ner sea with a long sandy beach. This beach, which had completely natural conditions in the past. has been under the influence of different uses in recent years including agricultural and other man-made uses.In this study, the aim was toevaluate the coastal movement patterm over the period between 1948 and 2020(72 years)under different uses according to the current situation. Part of the 4.5 km long coastline that constitutes the study area is subject to industrial use (Track 2) and the other part remains natural (Track 1). It was observed that the pattern deter-mined in the Track 1 field was more regular than the situation in Track 2,and the coastal change in all time intervals was created by the sea. On the other hand, it was observed that the shoreline change in Track2 was more irregular and that the change in the shoreline between 1969 and 1985 was on the sea side compared to the current coastline (2020),and the others remained on the land side. The results showed that the uses in the coastal zone have affected the change in the shoreline over the years and that these patterns of change can be determined with appropri-ate dated and scaled aerial photographs and satellite data.
