  • 摘要:The differences of leaf characteristics,stomatal structure, photosynthesis, chlorophyll content and antioxidant enzyme activities of four different age old Cinnamomum camphora trees in Hunan were measured, and their physiological and ecological characteristics were studied. The results showed that the leaf characteristics of four different age old Cin-namomum camphora trees were leaf thickness.leaf area, leaf dry weight, leaf volume and leaf tissue density decreased with the increase of tree age; The stomatal structure showed that the stomatal density, stomatal aperture and stomatal size decreased with the increase of tree age; the net photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate and stomatal conductance de-creased with the increase of tree age, while the inter-cellular CO, concentration increased with the in-crease of tree age; the activities of SOD and cat de-creased with the increase of tree age, while pod in-creased with the increase of tree age. The research results can provide the basis for judging the aging degree of ancient trees and protecting and rejuvenat-ing, and lay a foundation for the protection and utili-zation of ancient camphor trees.
