摘要:The research was carried out in order to determine the effect of the program on theself-regulation social skills and problem behavior skills of children by applying the socialvalues education program to preschool children. In the study, a full application designwithout a pretest-posttest control group was used. The research consists of 13 childrenaged 54-60 months, 54% of whom are boys and 46% are girls, selected by the purposefulsampling method, who are studying in Ankara. In the study, “Self-Regulation Scale”,“Social Skills Scale” and “Problem Behavior Scale” were used to measure the intendedskills. Social Values Education Program which created by Sapsaglam (2015) was applied3 days in 12 weeks and the program includes the values of “Helpfulness, Honesty, Love,Respect, Cooperation, Self-Control, Responsibility, Kindness, Tolerance, Friendship”.Before the program, pre-test measurements were used with tools, post-test measurementsand permanence measurements were used after the program applied. The obtained scientificdata was analyzed by SPSS 22 program. As a result of the research, it was seen thatthe Social Values Education Program made a positive and significant difference in children’sself-regulation and social skills. In addition, it is seen that the Social Values EducationProgram significantly reduced the problem behaviors seen in children and accordingto the persistence test findings, the effect of the program on self-regulation, social skillsand problem behaviors continues in the later period.
