摘要:Last 10-20 years natural zeolites have been the subject of increased attention of theorists and practitioners. Successful practical use of natural zeolites requires deep fundamental research aimed at study of the physical and chemical properties of these minerals, the nature of the surface, porosity, adsorption capacity and other properties. The object of the study was сlinoplite (Skorinnsk deposit, Ukraine). The physical gas adsorption was used as a method of research. As a result, we have got the adsorption isotherms, which helped to identify the parameters of the porous structure of the clinoplite. Of late years, the mathematical modeling is widely used for the study of porous materials. The combination of mathematical modeling with adsorption methods provides valuable information on the energy heterogeneity, distribution of pores, adsorption capacity of macroporous adsorbents, etc.. According to model of Kohan we have calculated the distribution of pores in clinoplite from pressure, the volume of gas adsorbed and the thickness of the adsorption layer. The experimental mathematical studies provided information on the structure and adsorption properties of the clinoplite, which indicate the possibility of its usage as an adsorbent in the industry.
