摘要：Numerous studies have found that low socioeconomic status leads to negative well-being in work and non-work domains. However, evidence on this issue from the Malaysian context is scarce. Therefore, this paper aims to investigate the influence of socioeconomic status on life and job satisfaction among low-income employees working in the public sector quantitatively. Self-report questionnaires from 265 respondents were obtained using the convenience sampling technique and analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and SmartPLS 3.0. The findings indicate that socioeconomic status has a positive influence on life and job satisfaction. Therefore, the study contributes insights into the socioeconomic status factors which determine life satisfaction and job satisfaction, specifically to low-income employees working in the Malaysian public sector.
