摘要:Objectives The study aims to identify the functioning of companies offering vehicle-sharing services in Poland. Material and methods A questionnaire survey was carried out on the use of means of transport for the purpose of moving within the city. To conduct empirical research, companies offering carsharing services, namely Traficar, Panek CarSharing, and 4Mobility Carsharing, were purposefully adopted. Empirical and survey research was conducted in 2020. The survey included 126 randomly selected people from among the inhabitants of the Warsaw agglomeration Results As a result of the research, it was found that e-car sharing services are still not very popular, as only a small percentage of the respondents used such services. People using shared cars rent them for short journeys, and their budget expenditures on this type of transport are relatively small. Conclusions The main conclusion from the research is that car-sharing services, based on the sharing economy idea, have development potential, and their further development depends on several complementary activities also on the part of the owners of urban spaces (mainly parking spaces).
