摘要：The authors, as organizers of the workshop, for years, have been conducting research on the topic of agrarian landscape and on management of resources among protohistoric communities. The comparison and convergence on some issues motivated the need to plan a seminar involving other scholars. This brief introduction summarizes the reasons for the workshop and the methods that led in a short time to the publication of the contributions here.
