摘要:The text problematizes yet another perspective of the time around the civilian-military coup of 1964 and its consequences. We outline considerations about the role of the subject of political positions demarcated around the liberal-conservative spectrum, seeking to perceive the influence of intellectual sectors as individuals directly involved in the plots of the coup and who subsequently suffered its consequences. The main source is an editorial in the newspaper O Estado de São Paulo entitled “Script of the revolution”, published on April 12, 1964 by the owner and director of the periodical, Mesquita Filho, written in his own hand. The argument is developed by taking notions as a force of Arno Mayer's tradition, Reinhart Koselleck's reflections on historical times and Michel Foucault's postulates about the consolidation of the truth regimes.
