摘要:The article analyzes the pathologization of the feminine in the handbook Clinical and Forensic Psychiatry by Antonio Carlos Pacheco e Silva. The micro-historical analytical method highlights a woman's life circumstances exposed by the medical logic that excluded those who did not reach the place of wife and mother, whose individual experience emerges from the medical handbook as an exemplary case of schizophrenia. The results indicate that the medicalization of society built the representation of the deviant feminine as a negation of marriage and motherhood.
