摘要:The present text proposes a reflection from an already completed investigation that had as its central objective to perceive which meanings about masculinities were then moved and constituted by/in the magazines Junior and Men's Health Portugal, in view of the speech of its agents and the final product published. Here, in a specific way, in the wake of other researches that postulate subjectivity as an important element to perceive journalistic practice and based on the Theory of Subjectivity, it is reflected on how subjective aspects in relation to the informants are central to understanding the speeches materialized in those productions. In addition to the objective issues, it is suggested that it would be fundamentally the perception of the world of those subjects, their lenses then cast on that world and the social spaces that surround them that would allow that specific menaings, and not others, about gender, sexuality and race were established in Junior and Men's Health Portugal.
