摘要:We look at the October 2019 edition of the newspaper A Sirene, produced in partnership with the extension program Sujeitos de suas histórias, for Children's Day, analyzing three features. A Sirene is a monthly newspaper produced in Mariana (MG) from the perspective of the communities affected by the collapse of Fundão Dam. We analyze the journalistic features from the perspective of the testimony in dialogue with journalism and in intersection with childhood studies, to understand how the testimonial content materializes, based on a text analysis, understanding as such not only the written text, but also the images. The accounts show that, for the children and adolescents of Bento Rodrigues and Paracatu de Baixo, the protagonists of the features, the trauma unfolds as temporal splintering, spatial loss and destruction of a way of life. In addition, the edition at the same time that gives prominence to children and adolescents, takes identities out of focus, with regard to images and authorship.
