摘要:This article attempts to discuss the reliability of Nick Carraway as narrator in The Great Gatsby. Considering the fact that he represents the authorial voice and supports the implicit moral code of the author, however, Nick is enough to be reliable in his narration. His perception, interpretation and evaluation of the objects in his work are consistent with the norms implied by the author. This paper takes Nick as a starting point to discuss the reliability of Carraway in The Great Gatsby.
