摘要：Ted Hughes is one of the most representative poets in contemporary Britain. He is named as the “animal poet” for he is good at using animals as materials for poetry creation. Although researchers and scholars at home and abroad have done abundant studies on Hughes and his works, most of them probe Hughes’ poetry on animal images, ecologism, violence and Taoism.This article aims to give a comprehensive analysis of Ted Hughes’ poetry.
