摘要：En este trabajo se analiza la participación de la Iglesia católica (en adelante, Iglesia) en el Congreso Pedagógico Nacional (CPN) de 1984 en Argentina mediante un examen retrospectivo al Congreso Pedagógico Internacional (CPI) de 188En un primer apartado, se caracterizan el contexto político de la transición a la democracia desde 1983, la iniciativa de desarrollar un CPN y el lugar de la Iglesia en aquellos años. En un segundo apartado, se analizan la participación católica en el CPN, su postura ideológica y principales consignas de política educativa. Por último, se aborda una comparación sobre el papel de la Iglesia entre CPI y el CPN, y una reflexión sobre su relevancia en la actualidad. Se ha podido constatar que algunas posturas seculares de la institución trascendieron luego de cien años entre el CPI y el CPN y que, incluso ahora, son relevantes en la actualidad.
其他摘要：This study analyzes participation of the Catholic Church (hereinafter, the Church) at the 1984 National Pedagogical Conference (CPN) in Argentina, through a retrospective analysis of the International Pedagogical Congress (IPC) held in 1882. In the first section, we characterize the political context of the transition to democracy in 1983, the initiative to develop an NPC and the status of the Church during that period. The second section assesses Catholic participation in the NPC, its ideological position and principal educational policy slogans. To conclude, a comparison is made regarding the role of the Church at the ICC and the NPC as well as a reflection on its relevance today. It is noted that after 100 years secular positions from the institution had transcended beyond the ICC and the NPC and continue to be relevant today.
