摘要：A IRPOWER JOURNAL asked me to recommend a quintet of essential books for earlv and midcareer Air M .MlForce officers. Easier asked than accomplished, I found out. Many conversations about this task with other operators, planners, and historians led to no general agreement. There are tens of thousands of midcareer officers with dozens of specialties. thus the difficultv in finding broadly gauged books.
