摘要：AJOR Richard A. Gabriel's “ Profes sionalism versus M anagerialism ” is a valuable addition to the professional military reading list. An initial reaction may be that it involves ground units and can contribute lit tle to an Air Force officer’s education. How ever, on reflection, one soon realizes that a study that provides enlightenment on im proving the effectiveness of men in combat is of value to any military professional, whether soldier, sailor, or airman.
