摘要：A circular approach in the economy means and promotes, in principle, the reusability of products and materials through different processes like recycling. refurbishment and remanufacturing. Thus, the latter is divided into categories based on their time through the cycles mentioned. To implement this system, compared to its long-lived predecessor, namely the linear perspective or model, a various number of actions and policies must be taken. The transition requires the setting of goals or targets meant for this operation. But will this result in a sustainable environment? The contribution and relationship between circular economy and sustainable development and thus to a more sustainable society is under discussion. This paper tries to analyze the concept of circular economy, describes its main principles and values, highlights the main differences in implementing these two antithetic systems – circular and linear – and gives information about the possibility of providing sustainability to the system in cause.
