摘要:The aim of this study is to investigate whether teachers in the 1st stage of basic education in Portugal consider games for the prevention of school bullying to be useful. Overall, 276 teachers participated in the study. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire survey inspired by the Olweus Questionnaire but adapted for the adult population under study. After analyzing the results, it was found that most teachers agree that the prevention of school bullying should start in pre-primary education. Some of the participants report the existence of an instrument/protocol of action/signaling in response to occurrences of bullying among children at the school where they work. Most participants argue that combining the use of didactic games with education can work as an instrument in the prevention of bullying and raise awareness of the problem among children in pre-primary education. The information obtained in this study proposes a primary prevention of bullying through games, because when well developed and explored, these tools can be an important resource to develop knowledge and skills; at the same time children acquire autonomy and learn to respect rules, while enjoying moments of communication, encouragement, and positive and correct interaction with others.
