  • 摘要:This article highlights one aspect of a case study of international educators at Dubai Women’s College (DWC), United Arab Emirates (UAE). It examines perceptions of international educators in third space teaching female Emirati, higher-education students in the UAE. Drawing on third space theory (Bhabha, 1994), this study explored the nature of their hybridity and their accommodation processes. Findings reveal that these international educators in third space perceive the salient elements of their experiences are: educators’ cultural curiosity, seeing beyond the veil, the global meets the local “here,” heading home, and mediating tensions.
