摘要:AbstractThe synchronisation between two identical chaotic\hyperchaotic systems has been an interesting research problem in the last two decades. Many works have been reported on the synchronisation of chaotic\hyperchaotic systems using adaptive controllers. In most of these papers, the number of control inputs equals the number of the system states, and the parameter estimation errors do not converge to zero. This paper considers an eleven-term 4-D hyperchaotic system having two quadratic-nonlinear terms and three unknown parameters. We present two adaptive controllers to achieve complete synchronisation between two identical hyperchaotic systems. The first controller considers four control inputs (equals system states), and the second controller uses three control inputs. The performances of the proposed adaptive controllers are better when compared with some available adaptive controllers. The comparison is made in terms of (i) time of convergence of the synchronisation errors, (ii) convergence of the parameter estimation errors to zero and (iii) requirement of the total control energy by the controller. The circuit implementation of the proposed synchronisation with three control inputs is done using NI Multisim, and the results are validated with the same obtained by MATLAB simulation.
