摘要:AbstractThis paper identifies an analogous fractional-order model for an integer-order Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) technique. Statistical analysis is carried out to justify the supremacy of PSO over other optimization methods like Ant Lion Optimization (ALO) and Sine Cosine Algorithm (SCA). Comparison is made between various predicted models in terms of time and frequency domain specifications considering different objective functions. Integer-order and fractional-order PID controllers are designed to compensate for the deficiencies present in the identified fractional-order AVR system. Parameter debugging of the proposed controllers is carried out by choosing suitable objective functions and using the PSO optimization method. The superiority of fractional-order controller over integer-order controller is inspected through comparisons. The robustness of the applied controller is examined in terms of the disturbance rejection capability of the controllers.
