摘要：Civic community can be defined as a social organization which is a place where individuals gather because of the same hobbies and common goals. Social organizations can take an active role in social life, including in breaking the spread of covid-19. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the civic community in an effort to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study in the Sel-P community in Palembang City. The results showed that the Palembang City Cell-P community participated in supporting the government's efforts in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic. What the community does is implementing health protocols in every activity, doing routine exercise every week to strengthen immunity, providing understanding about 3M to community members and carrying out social services by washing worship equipment in various prayer rooms in Palembang city. It is hoped that these various activities will be able to help in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic.
