摘要:In resource constrained wireless sensor networks, data transmission consumes more energy, to improve the overall network lifetime we need to decrease the data transmission. Towards this many mechanisms are proposed in the literature.In- network processing is one such popularly used mechanism which reduces number of data transmissions by computing the required aggregate within the network. For many applications secure data aggregation is very much needed, therefore secure data aggregation schemes are very much in demand in wireless sensor networks. In this paper we propose a lightweight secure data aggregation scheme. The scheme computes the average temperature of the monitoring area and the sensed temperature is aggregated within the network and securely delivered to central controlling node called Base Station. For security, we use mechanisms which are lightweight in terms of computation. The scheme ensures confidentiality of the aggregated value and also the authenticity of the participating nodes.
