摘要：Synthesis and characterization by polarizing optical microscope, differential scanning calorimeter and infrared spectroscopy of hydrogen bonded liquid crystalline compound consisting of the type mesogenic + mesogenic, namely, ppentyloxy benzoic acid: p-(p’-ethoxy benzylidene – cyano aniline (5OBA:EBCA). Induced smectic G phase is observed and discussed the results.
