摘要：Malnutrition constitutes a trueproblem of public health in particular in the children of lessthan five years. Our studyaims to study the correlationbetween the nutritionalstatute of the childrenfrom 6 to 59 months and the sociodemographiccharacteristics of the mother in the medical districts of Dosso. It was about a descriptive crosssectionalstudywithanalyticalaiming, led May to October 2019. Our samplerelated to 373 couples mother-children of the two (2) old sexes from 6 to 59 months come in the CSI Lacourousou for consultation nourrisson and withpediatryfrom the center mother-childfrom Dosso. Wehadserved as the MUAC to determine the nutritional state of the child. The data werecollected on questionnaires comprising of the information on the mother and the child. Square the Khi test of Pearson wasused to determine the relation between the various variables. The odd Ratio withits IC to 95% wereused to determine the factors of risk of malnutrition. The maternalcharacteristicscorrelated in a nutritional state were: the age of the mother, the educationallevel, the matrimonial statute, the matrimonial mode, the row in the fratrie, the nature of breastfeeding and the profession of the mother. The Bi-variedanalysis shows a relation between the nutritional state and the following variables: the sex of the child and the profession of the mother. This resut put on obviousness the meaningthanckeek the mother for the impovement of children.
