摘要：Los nuevos registros permiten descubrir poblaciones nuevas, ampliar la distribución en una región biótica y confirmar la presencia del taxón en un sitio distinto. De diciembre de 2017 a noviembre de 2018 registramos la presencia de ocho individuos adultos de la matraca chiapaneca (Campylorhynchus chiapensis) en el rancho San Miguel, ubicado en el margen del río Ostuta, del municipio de San Francisco Ixhuatán, al sur del istmo de Tehuantepec, Oaxaca. Estos registros amplían en casi 80 km, en línea recta, el rango de distribución conocida para esta especie considerada endémica de Chiapas y sujeta a protección especial en México.
其他摘要：New records allow describe the distribution of new populations, expand the distribution in different biotic region, and confirm the presence of the taxon in a different site. Between December 2017 and November 2018, we recorded eight adult individuals of the Giant Wren (Campylorhynchus chiapensis) in a locality south of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca. These records extend by almost 80 km in a straight line, the range of their known distribution. The Giant Wren is considered endemic to Chiapas and subject to special protection in Mexico.
