摘要：Transformational leadership (TFL) is an influential leadership approach has strong impact on several causes of cost inflation in healthcare. This study has been carried out to determine the relationship between transformational leadership and cost containment. This study conducted in two secondary hospitals in the Northern Border in Saudi Arabia. 60 subjects of staff who meet the eligibility criteria participated in the study. Factor analysis, mean, SD, and regression have been used for data analysis. The findings showed significant effect of TFL on cost containment. The study recommends training of hospital stakeholders in particular as a mean of creating cost effective work environment.
