  • 摘要:This study aimed to investigate the nature of relationship among the antecedents of psychological empowerment and workplace consequences. Moreover, the mediating role of psychological empowerment on the relationship among the culture of an organization, structural empowerment, and the consequences related to work has also been assessed. The data collection has been done through questionnaires, and quantitative research design was applied to generate the research outcomes. Faculty staff of private Jordanian universities was recruited for collecting data. It has been determined from the results that the structural and psychological empowerments are important predictors of the organizational commitment and job satisfaction. It has been concluded that in the context of higher education, the psychological empowerment seems to be a fundamental aspect in bringing enhancements in the attitudes of work outcomes of the faculty staff.
