摘要：One important factor for the realization of effective farmer groups is the leadership of the group. The role of leaders is important in finding alternative problem solving to ensure order in a group. So the leadership of the board and its relationship to the effectiveness of farmer groups is important to be studied. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between leadership of the board with the effectiveness of farmers group in Malingping District, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. The method used in this study is survey and sample design with number source of information of 102 people. The data is analyzed using Rank Spearman correlation and group analysis unit. The results of the study are: 1) there is a relationship between self-confidence and relevant knowledge about work with the effectiveness of farmers group, and 2) there is a relationship between task orientation and relationship orientation with the level of the group members’ satisfaction.
