  • 摘要:The main purpose of this research was to compare the communication media according to effective teaching. For this purpose, in the research, the mixed method, including quantitative and qualitative data collecting techniques, was applied. For the quantitative part of the research, the static group comparison design was implemented as one of the quasi- experimental designs. The population of the research consisted of all pre-service teachers attending Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Education during the fall term of 2011- 2012 academic year. The study group composed of junior class students attending the Primary Education Program. One of the classes was divided into two. While Information Technology classes were conducted via Facebook in one group, the other group studied Information Technology via Adobe Connect. As a result of the research, there is no statistically significant difference between the academic success posttest scores of pre-service teacher groups, which were obtained from the whole sub-dimensions of Effective Teaching Scale. According to the pre-service teachers’ views, Facebook needs to have a 3rd Party Software in the teaching and learning process. In addition, the study groups should consist of fewer students.
