摘要:The evaluation of psychomotor development in 0-24 month old children through the Scale of Assessment of Psychomotor Development instrument. A non experimental, descriptive and transactional study. It is necessary for a child to have stimulation chances in a suitable learning environment in order to progress in his development. For that, it is necessary to detect observed delays on time to prevent and avoid possible consequences in the future.In this study the scale of assessment of the psychomotor development standardized in Chile was applied to 20 socially vulnerable preschool children (13 boys and 7 girls) from four kindergartens of Integra Foundation of Puerto Varas commune on a non-probabilistic procedure, incidental, to identify the psychomotor development of 3 to 24 month children in the areas of Language, Social and Motor Coordination in kindergartens.Results: From the four evaluated areas, the Social one gained 11.15 points on average between the first and the third assessment; then Language area had 10.95 points. And then the Motor and Coordination area increased 9.9 and 7.2 points respectively.Conclusions: The results obtained from the EEDP application, from the first to the third assessment, show that there has been improvement in different evaluated areas.
