摘要：Tennis is an intermittent dynamics, short repetitive actions sport with continuous strokes and varying intensity. Knowing exactly the temporal structure of it, is essential information to the planning of training. The aim of this review is to analyze competitive tennis, in terms of total game time, real time, rest time, number of rallies, number of strokes, rally duration, etc. to know the characteristics specific sport, which may contribute to specific knowledge of the competitive characteristics and thus help coaches in their day to day specific training.
