摘要:The main objective of this study was to evaluate the vertical (VJ) and horizontal (HJ) unilateral jump capacity (dominant leg (D) and non dominant leg (ND), acceleration capacity and anaerobic threshold during preseason in elite soccer players. Fifteen elite players from the 2nd Division B of the Spanish Soccer League (19.6 ± 1.6 years, 177.9 ± 6.0 cm, 70.4 ± 4.7 kg) took part in the study. The bilateral vertical jump ability (CMJ) and unilateral (CMJD and CMJND), the unilateral horizontal jump ability (HJD and HJND), the 5 and 15 m acceleration capacity and the individual anaerobic threshold were analyzed. Significant differences in both, the VJ and HJ capacity, between D and ND (p <0.05) were obtained. The acceleration capability at 5 m and 15 m (0.97 ± 0.04 and 2.31 ± 0.08 s, respectively), the VJ (43.98 ± 4.84 cm) and the individual anaerobic threshold (11.75 ± 0.83 km/h) were similar to those obtained in other studies of national and international elite soccer players.
